When you sit down and share something like Star Wars with your kids, it's more than nostalgic fun, you’re passing something on.

My husband is starting to show our son the original Star Wars episodes and I honestly can't tell who's more excited sitting on that couch: my husband as he anticipates every iconic scene "keep watching. Are you paying attention?" or my son who's constantly asking "is Yoda coming?" haha
It's so precious sharing your favourite things with your kids. Because they're not just memories, they're formation.
Kids don’t just inherit your DNA they inherit your values, your rhythms, what you pay attention to, and your memories-in-the-making.

Pericles said "What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.

Take the time to be intentional about this. Share stories and the lessons you've learned. Pass along the inside jokes, traditions, and songs that helped you through hard seasons. Go take them to see the house you grew up in, and show them what mattered to you and shaped who you are today. Because who YOU are is part of who THEY are too.

Whether you realise it or not, you're passing SOMETHING on. What will it be? 'cause YOU’re writing the stories THEY’ll one day tell.

May your family be blessed for a thousand generations. and May the 4th be with you!
